1.  Office 365 is live!!!! Go to: http://login.microsoftonline.com

 

2.     You will log in with:
Username =   john.smith@lpsb.org  (your email address)
Password=   Sent in an email.  (generic password for all users)

3.     You will be required to change your password.
It must have a capital letter, a lower case letter, a number and be at least 8 characters.

Example: Jsmith1234 or JSmith12 etc.

Groupwise is no longer available to send or receive email. Everything before 4:00 October the 15th is available through the archive at GroupWise/M+Analytics http://gwarchive.lpsb.org:8888

Is there a way to add a signature to your email in Outlook?  
 

Yes, go to Options in the upper right hand corner, go to See All Options, then Settings and Mail.

 
How do I send an email to more than one person at a time?  
 

After the first persons name, begin typing the 2nd persons name, then click check names just above the To: field and it will check the contacts list to find that person. After that it will remember the person.

 
How can I "pin" or shortcut the email to my desktop like GroupWise used to be?  
 

You can create a shortcut on the desktop by dragging the url to the desktop, just be sure your Internet Explorer window is small enough that you can see your desktop. Also be sure to drag it by the little blue icon in front of the url.

 
I did not adjust the time during the initial sign-in. How do I set the correct time now?  
 

Go to Options, See All Options, Settings and Regional.

 
How do I turn on Spell Check?  
  Go to Options, See All Options, Settings and Spelling. Put a check mark in the box for Always check spelling before sending  
When I try to send a file directly from Excel or Adobe using the save and send as an attachment, it automatically tries to send thru GroupWise.  
  That feature is not available at this time. You will need to save it and attach it to an email.  
I am blocked from Microsoft Office 365! What do I do?  
  Office 365 is NOT blocked for the Teacher Group. Shut down your computer completely (do not do restart). Then turn it back on. When it comes back on, make sure workstation only is not checked. Also if it is a laptop make sure the wireless is turned off (the button is on the right hand side of the laptop next to the cd drive ) Then try to login again.
